Saturday Gig Time At Zodiac

Xmas Lights + Foals + And No Star + Remember The Flood

Foals were amazingly good, probably the surprise of the night. While Remember The Flood are my brothers band, so I kind of have to like them or my mum will hit me. Still, they were actually not bad seen as it was their first gig. The other bands were rubbish, made me consider suicide.

Love Is All

Love Is All were a band I had high hopes about. Unfortunately due to technical difficulties with sound and a saxophone player seeming to disappear half-way through the set it never quite lived upto expectation. Although best described as the poor man's version of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, I think this band have a lot more to offer than what was dished out to the crowd.

British Sea Power and Tilly and The Wall

Two great bands, two very different bands. Can't be bothered to write anymore, still have dirty hangover. Just search for them yourselves people.

Yo La Tengo

Went to see Yo La Tengo, a band I'd never previously heard of before, at Shepherds Hall in London. They turned out to be pretty good, especially the slower songs. Made me contemplate life a lot.
Anyway, no time to type. I have to go and get ready to see British Sea Power play at the Zodiac in Oxford. Life seems to be going in fast forward recently.
