The Cribs

The lovely Cribs at the Zodiac (Oxford Carling Academy), a very good night for all.

Los Campesinos! + You Say Party! We Say Die!

Very very good gig at the new upstairs part of the Oxford Carling Academy. You know what your getting with the new rave ramblings of You Say Party! We Say Die!, but Los Campesinos! were an unknown quantity. Turned out to be like Monkey Swallows The Universe on speed, some good violin action in parts which I always love. Definitely worth getting the album if there is ever one released.

Not sure why everyone feels the need to use exclamation marks in band names though.

Reverend and the Makers

Good gig at the new Zodiac (Carling Academy), just a shame I couldn't find 3 of the people I was supposed to be seeing it with.
